NCLT Delhi has directed B9 Beverages and its creditors to enter mediation to explore a settlement in the ongoing insolvency proceedings, including a Section 7 petition filed by Unity Small Finance Bank.
A potential fund infusion and revival proposal has been presented on behalf of financial creditors, but several creditors have opposed settlement discussions. Unity Small Finance Bank questioned a proposed ₹3 Cr settlement against about ₹19.04 Cr of debt.
Axis Bank is considering a separate settlement offer, while other creditors have raised concerns that the mediation process could delay proceedings and that company assets could potentially be siphoned off.
The Tribunal has restrained B9 Beverages from parting with its assets and directed financiers seeking to revive the company to prepare an inventory of its assets and share it with creditors.
