Garuda Aerospace has confidentially filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with SEBI to raise approximately ₹1,000 crore through an IPO, marking a significant step toward public listing in India’s emerging drone technology sector.
The confidential filing route allows the company to withhold sensitive business and financial details during the initial stages, providing flexibility in timing and structure while gauging investor interest before making public disclosures.
The IPO proceeds are expected to support expansion of manufacturing capacity, strengthening of R&D capabilities, and scaling of drone technology solutions, particularly across sectors such as agriculture, defence, surveillance, and industrial applications.
Garuda Aerospace has been actively preparing for listing, including conversion into a public company and strengthening corporate governance through board restructuring, indicating a structured transition toward capital markets readiness.
