INKEL has been entrusted with conducting site surveys and assessing the development potential of three government healthcare institutions: Thiruvananthapuram General Hospital, Model District Hospital at Peroorkada and the State Mental Health Centre
The assignment will assess existing buildings, infrastructure, available land, treatment facilities and future development requirements before a comprehensive master plan is prepared.
Overcrowding at General Hospital and available land at Peroorkada could create scope for redistribution and expansion of healthcare facilities, including the potential development of women and children’s and paediatric care facilities.
The project is being undertaken using INKEL’s own funds for the survey and master-planning exercise, providing the company an opportunity to participate in the subsequent infrastructure-development requirements identified through the assessment.
