Ohmium International and Insolare Energy have partnered to develop a 4 MW green hydrogen project for NLC India, marking another step in India’s push toward clean energy and hydrogen-based industrial decarbonisation.
The project will integrate Ohmium’s PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) electrolyzer technology with renewable energy infrastructure developed by Insolare, enabling the production of green hydrogen using renewable power sources.
NLC India’s participation highlights the increasing involvement of public sector enterprises in India’s emerging green hydrogen ecosystem, aligning with national energy transition and sustainability goals.
Green hydrogen produced through the project is expected to support efforts to reduce dependence on fossil fuels while helping industries move toward lower-carbon operations.
The collaboration reflects growing momentum in India’s hydrogen value chain, where technology providers, renewable energy developers, and industrial users are increasingly forming strategic partnerships to accelerate commercialization.
The project also supports the broader objectives of the National Green Hydrogen Mission, which aims to position India as a major global hub for green hydrogen production, utilization, and exports.
