KLM Axiva Finvest has entered into an arm's-length transaction to assign a loan portfolio of up to ₹7 crore to Richfield Financial Services. The transaction includes assigned receivables along with related documents, collateral and security interests.
For KLM Axiva, the transaction provides an opportunity to monetise part of its existing loan book and improve portfolio liquidity, while transferring the associated rights and benefits of the assigned facilities to Richfield.
The portfolio transfer is being executed in one or more tranches, allowing the transaction to be structured progressively rather than as a single transfer. It is also confirmed to be an unrelated-party, arm's-length transaction.
The move is consistent with KLM Axiva's broader lending strategy, where portfolio management and funding flexibility remain important as the company expands its gold-loan and other secured-lending operations. KLM has previously raised funds through NCD issuances to support onward lending and repayment of existing borrowings.
