Polymatech Electronics Limited has announced an investment of ₹550 crore to set up a new medical device manufacturing facility at the SIPCOT Medical Devices Park in Oragadam, Tamil Nadu, after executing a 99-year lease for 4.45 acres of land adjacent to its existing unit.
The expansion comes amid strong demand for its advanced manufacturing capabilities, with the current facility reportedly operating at full capacity, prompting capacity augmentation to support scaling of high-precision medical device production.
The upcoming plant will manufacture a range of advanced medical devices, leveraging the company’s semiconductor expertise, and is expected to generate employment for around 100 engineers, contributing to India’s growing MedTech manufacturing ecosystem.
Additionally, the company is pursuing further expansion with land allotment in Chhattisgarh for a proposed Special Economic Zone (SEZ), indicating a broader multi-location growth strategy in electronics and healthcare manufacturing.
