Sebi renews licences of NSE Clearing, Indian Clearing Corp for three years

SEBI renews licenses for NSE Clearing Ltd and Indian Clearing Corporation Ltd for three years.

Justification

• The renewed licenses are valid until October 2, 2026.

• NSE Clearing Ltd is a subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange  (NSE), while Indian Clearing Corporation Ltd ( ICCL)  is an arm of BSE.

• SEBI considers the renewals in the interest of the trade, securities market, and the public.

• Both entities handle clearing, settlement, deposit, collateral management, and risk management for NSE and BSE trades.
