OYO Parent Prism Targets ₹6,650 Crore IPO Launch
The much-awaited OYO parent Prism IPO could be getting closer to the market. Prism, the parent company of global travel-tech unicorn OYO, is aiming to launch its ₹6,650 crore initial public offering (IPO) during the current financial year, according to founder and CEO Ritesh Agarwal.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Global Fintech Fest 2026, Agarwal said the company hopes to launch the IPO within the current fiscal year, while the final timing would depend on pricing and market conditions.
The proposed IPO is being closely watched as it would mark a major milestone for OYO, which has been preparing for a public-market debut for several years.
Prism IPO to Be Entirely a Fresh Issue
One of the key features of the proposed Prism IPO is its structure.
The ₹6,650 crore issue will comprise only a fresh issue of equity shares, with no offer-for-sale (OFS) component. This means existing investors are not planning to sell their shares as part of the proposed IPO.
The company had initially filed its confidential Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in December 2025. It subsequently submitted an updated draft prospectus on June 30, 2026.
Where Will the IPO Money Go?
According to the draft prospectus, the majority of the IPO proceeds will be used to strengthen Prism's balance sheet.
Around ₹4,987.5 crore from the net proceeds is proposed to be used for the repayment or prepayment of outstanding borrowings. The remaining amount will be allocated towards general corporate purposes.
The proposed use of funds makes debt reduction one of the central objectives of the OYO IPO.
